Registered Nurse/Practice Supervisor

We are seeking a part time Registered Nurse/Practice Supervisor to join our team at the Broadway Building for covering in our Infusion, rheumatology, and family medicine departments.

    Schedule TBD (3 - 4 days per week day shifts, no evenings no weekends)

In this position you will:

• Assist with the day-to-day supervision and oversight of the department staff including staff scheduling, training of new hires, and ongoing competency training
• Performs general nursing care to patients in accordance to the Montana State Board of Nursing statutes and rules related to nursing
• Administer prescribed IV or parenteral medications and treatments
• Instructs and serves as a resource for patients and families regarding medications and treatments
• Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit
• Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations
• Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications 
• Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions
• Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Montana
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
