Senior Full Stack Engineer

Are you a talented Engineer looking to join a growing team? Dispel is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Web/API Engineer to join our team of roughly 25 engineers.

The ideal candidate should possess experience in building advanced web applications and be comfortable in working within visual design systems. You will have the opportunity to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions. Location

We are a 100% fully remote company (U.S. only). You are welcome to use our office in Brooklyn, New York City.

Salary

Salary is dependent on the location you reside in.

Stack includes

Node, TypeScript, React, NextJS, Express, tRPC, Storybook, NX, GitHub, Jest, Cypress, AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis, ELK, Tanstack Query

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience.
• Excellent HTML, CSS, and JS skills.
• Comfortable with modern web development landscape, especially React. Should have worked on an advanced React/NextJS based product.
• Must have been deeply involved with at least one API.
• Skilled in Unit testing, ideally with Jest.
• Fast learner. Degrees and certificates aren’t a determining factor for us. Rather, we value your ability to care about your work and learn fast.
• Communication and team culture are very important at Dispel. You’ll be joining a collaborative team where new ideas and contributions are encouraged. These criteria are soft, but just relax and be genuine.
• Comfortable working within a visual design systems.
  

Extra Credit

• Strong SQL / DB chops.
• Experience working with feature flags
• Experience with advanced debugging practices and alerting/logging.
