Role Purpose

As a Controller within the Commercial Operations (COC) organization, this role plays a key part in supporting financial processes, driving operational efficiency, and partnering with business leaders. The Controller is responsible for coordinating month-end close activities, managing forecasting and budgeting cycles, and leading capital and operational expenditure reviews. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate month-end closing activities for the COC Commercial Operations organization.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries and accruals.
  • Lead OPEX cost center analytics, reporting, and monthly forecasting.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for upper management.
  • Lead capital spend reviews and manage capitalization projects.
  • Prepare account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Coordinate and lead Commercial Ops Budget (Blackbook) spending using Khalix.
  • Drive continuous process improvements across financial operations.
  • Serve as a business partner to Commercial Operations leaders, providing financial insights and strategic support.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, controlling, or accounting.
  • Advanced understanding of P&L, Cash Flows, and Balance sheet
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders.
  • Experience working effectively across time zones and cultures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Eagerness to learn and adopt digital tools such as Power BI.

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Working experience with SAP, Khalix or similar budget/forecast tool
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and questioning existing processes.
  • High energy and self-motivation, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
