THE ROLE: This job listing for a Venue Sustainability Manager at the BankNH Pavilion offers a chance to make a meaningful environmental impact within the entertainment industry. In this seasonal role, you’ll play a key part in advancing sustainability initiatives, under the guidance of Live Nation's national sustainability team, while reporting directly to the venue's Operations Manager.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource Recovery & Circularity Programs: Develop and execute programs aimed at reducing waste and promoting material reuse.
  • Educational & Engagement Campaigns: Lead campaigns to foster awareness and encourage sustainable practices among staff, patrons, and artists.
  • Green Artist Operations: Support sustainability practices for artists and performances, ensuring environmentally responsible event operations.
  • Cultural Impact: Drive a culture of sustainability, making it a visible and embraced value within the venue’s operations.

Position Details:

  • Seasonal, Part-Time: April to October
  • Average Hours: 30 hours per week (variable based on show schedule and venue needs)

This is an opportunity to help set industry standards in zero-waste initiatives and shape a culture of sustainability at a renowned venue.

Additional Responsibilities:

Training & Engagement:

  • Participate in pre-season orientation and mid-season meetings with Live Nation’s national sustainability team.
  • Deploy sustainability communication and engagement assets to help lead preseason venue orientation training(s).
  • Provide regular updates to the entire venue staff to share progress, recognize employees, and identify areas of improvement.
  • Work closely with all venue departments to integrate sustainability into operations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to regularly share venue sustainability highlights on all social channels.
  • Collaborate with the Experience Manager to build enthusiasm and participation around venue sustainability efforts.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and National Sustainability Team including but not limited to local community and vendor engagement.

Resource Recovery & Material Circularity Operations:

  • Work with venue leaders to design a comprehensive zero waste plan for your venue with actionable goals,
