You will be directly responsible for impacting the company’s growth, profitability and strategic direction. This position requires regular travel within Germany.</p><p><strong>Key activities that you will be managing:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead, develop, grow and manage a diverse team of skilled and motivated Business Developers for the region South (BY, BW)</li><li>Coordinate all business development activities in your region for Greenfield and Brownfield activities, M&amp;A and Co-Developments</li><li>Grow the pipeline by own business development activities</li><li>Support the Business Developers in their day-to-day business</li><li>Manage the team to identify, assess, develop and manage project opportunities until handover to Project Management. Ensure a filled project funnel to reach German origination targets</li><li>Ensure a strong collaboration with all internal and external project stakeholder</li></ul><p>For this position we do have our Düsseldorf Office (Headquarter Germany), Birkenfeld or Schweinfurt as office options.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>We are looking for relevant professional expertise in the following areas</p><ul><li><strong>Development</strong> – Deep understanding of ‘greenfield’ development process for wind, solar and BESS projects in Germany (including site control, securing interconnection, permitting process – electrical, environmental and municipal, etc.). Good knowledge of associated business development.</li><li><strong>Management</strong> – Experience in managing complex projects and teams on large scale utility size projects.</li><li><strong>Energy Markets</strong> – Profound knowledge of the electricity market in Germany</li><li><strong>Corporate Environment</strong> –Accustomed to work in an international corporate environment with very good interpersonal and communication skills.</li></ul><p>Our profile description contains a variety of different competencies that are relevant for the position.
