Responsibilities

Under direct guidance and or supervision of the primary operative surgeon, assists the in the Perioperative care of patients, in surgery, and performs duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

High School diploma or GED.

Must meet state requirements as a surgical tech: see AB No. 347; 79th Session (2017) re: Surgical Technologists

BLS Certification (AHA only).

Experience in an acute care setting preferred

Graduate of Surgical Technologist training program preferred.

Minimum of one year surgical scrub experience in an acute care setting preferred.
