We are looking for an Art Director, International Production and Design interested in starting a career with a top-ranked and growing snack company, and to be part of our Marketing team at PIM’s Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey. This position will report to our Vice President of Creative Marketing.
Our new Art Director, International Production and Design will be a highly creative and detail-oriented expert who will lead and execute impactful packaging solutions for our global product portfolio. This individual will be instrumental in shaping our brand identity across diverse international growing markets, ensuring both creative excellence and seamless production. This role demands a strong understanding of design principles, international regulations, production processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Creative Vision & Art Direction:
- Develop and articulate innovative and brand-aligned packaging design concepts that resonate with target audiences in various international markets.
- Stay abreast of global design trends, materials, and technologies to drive cutting-edge packaging solutions.
- Present design concepts and strategies effectively to stakeholders, incorporating market-specific insights.
- International Production Expertise:
- Oversee the entire packaging production process from concept to final execution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to international standards and regulations (e.g., labeling, language requirements, environmental considerations).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive production specifications, including die-lines, material specifications, and color standards.
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement effective solutions to ensure timely delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with VP of Creative and International Marketing teams to ensure packaging aligns with brand strategy, product requirements, and market access needs.
- Communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders, considering cultural nuances and time zone differences.
- Manage translation and localization processes for packaging artwork.
- Project Management & Efficiency:
- Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously, adhering to deadline
