Overall Purpose 

The Senior Director, Analytics leads a high-performance team of analysts that is focused on generating actionable insights to drive long-term growth through product strategy, optimizing user experience, managing fraud and informing key business decisions. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Leads the development and execution of the business and fraud analytics strategy in alignment with company goals and product roadmaps. 

  • Partners closely with product, engineering, design, and executive leadership to define key metrics and ensure data informs decisions at all stages. 

  • Supports resource allocation, business case building and prioritization of new initiatives leveraging a wide variety of internal data sources and market intelligence 

  • Develops tailored A/B testing frameworks and experimentation strategies that inform product decisions from initial concept through launch, enabling data backed iteration and optimization across the product lifecycle. Guides the development and maintenance of scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting tools that enable self-service analytics and real-time decision-making. 

  • Translates complex data into compelling stories and insights that drive action for stakeholders from multiple functions and across all parts of product lifecycle. 

  • Fosters a culture of hypothesis testing and data-driven thinking across the organization and promote best practices in experimentation, metric design, and user behavior analysis. 

  • Ensures data integrity, governance, and privacy standards are upheld in all analytics work. 

  • Identifies opportunities for automation and process improvement in analytics workflows. 

  • Stays current with analytics tools, industry trends, and emerging technologies that could enhance the organization’s analytical capabilities. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Management, Marketing or related fields. 

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in product or fraud analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
