Job Description

As a Security Guard - Industrial Access Specialist in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will support a secure environment for employees and visitors, while you deliver excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control processes.
• Monitor and manage entry points to help to deter unauthorized access at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity.
• Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements.
• Support manufacturing and industrial operations by remaining alert to any security-related concerns unique to the environment.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors to maintain a secure atmosphere.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
