PayPal's Corporate Tax Department is seeking a Director, Global Transfer Pricing (TP) Operations Reporting to the VP, International Tax Advisory and TP. This position will work collaboratively with other members of the TP team, as well as PayPal's broader tax department, Controllership, and FP&A teams, to oversee the planning, operations, compliance, and audits related to the company's global intercompany transactions.

PayPal's Corporate Tax Department is seeking a Director, Global TP Operations Reporting to the VP, International Tax Advisory and TP. This position will work collaboratively with other members of the TP team, as well as PayPal's broader tax department, Controllership, and FP&A teams, to oversee the planning, operations, compliance, and audits related to the company's global intercompany transactions.

Key responsibilities include hands-on management and oversight of the following:

• Supervise a team of four TP specialists
• Guide the TP specialists in the development of TP models used to calculate cost-sharing, PCTs, and management services cross-charges
• Provide TP support to the Tax provision team, e.g., providing TP forecast inputs and TP reserve calculations
• Provide TP inputs for various business initiatives, e.g., designing the new intercompany flows, preparing the intercompany agreements, and providing guidance to Accounting teams for intercompany bookings
• Manage the TP global compliance process
• Support TP audits globally as well as SOX compliance matters
• Work with Accounting and Shared Services teams to ensure TP accounting entries are properly recorded in accordance with intercompany agreements and local tax rules
• Assist in the intercompany agreement preparation process including working with the Legal department in the drafting, execution, and maintenance of the agreement database

Job Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, JD, LLM
• 10+ years of progressive professional experience in TP for publicly held multinational companies; Big 4 public accounting experience with additional multi-national corporate tax department experience highly desired.
• Excellent TP technical skills, analytical thinker, detail-oriented
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively relate business initiatives with TP implications
• Resourcefulness and adaptability; self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent prioritization and organizational skills
• People management experience
• Experience with SAP and Alteryx a plus
