Software Engineer, athenaCollector – Authorization Management

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Authorization Management team.  
   
Our primary business goal is to create seamless processes for medical practices needing to obtain authorizations from insurance companies.  

As a team member, you will play crucial role in:  

  • Developing new 3d party integrations following the emerging industry electronic standards. 

  • Enhancing the existing backend workflows through the introduction of AI and ML. 

  • Maintaining and enhancing the existing frontend UI.

  

Job Responsibilities    

  • Design and develop code on an Agile team of Engineers, a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, and an Experience Designer.    

  • Collaborate inclusively with cross-functional team members to promote productivity and effectiveness; take ownership of what you build and coordinate efforts across the teams to ensure the team completes its objectives.  

  • Develop knowledge to act as a domain expert; share business and technical insights with the broader engineering and product organization.  

  • Work in agile, fast-paced environment. 

  • Collaborate effectively with Product and Technology teams.

  • Focus on delivering high quality code. 

  • Focus on meeting customer needs and expectations.

    

Typical Qualifications    

  • 2 years of experience with significant software engineering skills and computer science experience.  

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Bootcamp, or equivalent work experience.    

  • Solid knowledge of standard Java/Spring Boot tech stack. 

  • Knowledge of React or similar front end tech stack.

  • Experience in microservice design and implementation. 

  • Cloud experience, AWS preferred. 

  • Understanding of IaaC/DevOps/Terraform is a plus. 

  • AI/ML experience is a plus. 

  • FHIR/DaVinci exposure is a plus
