Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Responsible for project completion.
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management.
  • Design and develop innovative software solutions, addressing challenges of system integration, compatibility, and multi-platform functionality.
  • Take responsibility for the end-to-end completion of software development projects, collaborating with the Task Order Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on potential projects, evaluating technical requirements, resources, and potential benefits for management review.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed architecture and design, creating documentation for all solution components.
  • Work closely with system engineers, cybersecurity teams, and other project personnel to address integration and compatibility issues and ensure cohesive implementation.
  • Define testing protocols, support test environments, and work with quality assurance teams to validate that solutions meet functional and security standards.
  • Engage in technical review meetings to identify potential improvements, lead design reviews with prototypes and wireframes, and support the development of configuration management documentation as required.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience:
    • Five (5) years relevant experience
  • Certifications: 
    • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I
      • A+ CE
      • CCNA-Security
      • CND
      • Network+ CE
      • SSCP
    • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
  • Clearance: Must possess a secret clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)
