The Role
As the Technical Team Lead, residing in the CLS Command Center (CC), you be the technical resource and point of escalation for team members and will act as the primary focal for our client at their site: CLS (Continuous Linked Settlement’s - Foreign exchange command center). You’ll be working together in a seamless fashion to assist the CC Manager with team leadership responsibilities, jointly acting as one single entity to deliver quality service to the account, to the client, and to deliver the execution of responsibilities in a consistent manner. As the Technical Team Lead you’ll work/report directly to the CC manager and assists the CC manager with the overall management of the CC with focus on staffing, business strategies, training certification, environmental needs, project activities and compliance requirements.
**This job is required to be performed onsite at the client location in Metro Park, New Jersey. This is a 24/7 job working rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
In the role as the Technical Team lead you will specifically be responsible to:
- Act as the primary contact for the Command Center during CC Manager’s absence. Maintain open and consistent communication with CC manager for all issues involving the business and the team.
- Engage in identifying and resolving complex problems relating to the service(s) provided by the team.
- Provide financial focus (cost challenges), lead and drive workload implementation changes to increase productivity. Lead and conduct Root Cause Analysis with the team when required. Seek, build, and develop creative ways to ensure full awareness of all activities within the CC.
- Deliver open, honest and professional feedback to team members when required. Guide team to maintain professionalism and proper code of conduct in the CC. Actsas an escalation point for junior team members.
- Support/Assist Tech Leads during critical problem situations (callouts, triage, escalation, etc) when needed to help shorten recovery time.
- Oversee and support audit compliance tasks.
- Focus on opportunities to develop training and education and lead/drive teams to implement. Oversee the accreditation process. Ensure team rotation is occurring to keep team's skills current across the accounts.
- Maintain and audit the department schedule to ensure accuracy. Ensure all hours worked, hours not worked and overtime are recorded accurately and clearly. Review labor claiming for accuracy.
- Attend transition meetings for new business with focus on staffing requirements and agree way forward with CC Manager. Review any CC related project requests with focus on staffing.
If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $71,240 to $162,430 based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Shared Success plan.

Who You Are
To be successful in your role as Technical Team Lead, you will have the following experience and skills to bring to the role:
- Ability to work on site and periodically rotate to other shifts to show visibility.
- Previous working experience in an Operational Environment running 24/7.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Unix and Databases.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of technical solutions.
- Experience leading a Technical Team at a client site.
