Assumption Academy, a vibrant PK�8 Catholic school in Broadview Heights, Ohio, is seeking a Part-Time Physical Education Teacher for the 2026�2027 school year. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys helping students develop teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and confidence in a faith-filled learning environment.

Position Details

• Part-time position (2 days per week)
• Teach Physical Education to students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade
• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote lifelong wellness and healthy living
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support the mission of the school

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teaching license (or ability to obtain appropriate licensure)
• Physical Education certification preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students
• Ability to organize school fitness activities and promote teamwork and sportsmanship

Requirements

• Successful completion of BCI/FBI background checks
• Current or willingness to complete VIRTUS training through the Diocese of Cleveland
