Sr. Manager, Finance Business Excellence

This role reports to the Vice President of Finance and will work closely with senior management and various departments across the organization. The Senior Manager of Finance Business Excellence will be instrumental in shaping the financial future of the company and driving key business initiatives. 

What you’ll do:

• Operational Innovation: Lead initiatives to drive business excellence, efficiency and effectiveness of processes within the finance organization. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations.  

• Conducting thorough analyses of current financial processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvements or redesign 

• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial operations. 

• Streamlining workflows to reduce redundancy and enhance productivity. 

• Leveraging financial technology and tools to automate routine tasks and improve data accuracy. 

• Monitoring and measuring the performance of financial processes to ensure they meet established benchmarks and standards. 

• Collaborating with other departments to align financial processes with overall business operations and strategic goals. 

• Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and drive financial performance. Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial guidance and support. 

• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's assets. Develop and enhance necessary dashboards to track key metrics and business performance to drive business decisions 

• Design disaster recovery plan for the finance organization: Develop and implement a comprehensive disaster recovery plan to ensure business continuity and minimize financial risk. 

What you’ll need:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.   

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a business excellence role. Proven track record of driving financial performance and operational improvements. 

• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Proficiency in financial software and tools. 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
