IFP Product & Renewal Cycle Manager, Senior

Your Role

The Product Lifecycle team manages the end-to-end implementation of the Individual & Family Plan (IFP) products and renewals. The IFP Product Cycle & Renewal Manager, Senior will report to the Sr. Manager of Product Lifecycle. In this role you will be accountable for project execution of cycle related efforts to deliver the desired project outcomes. Collaborating across the enterprise to ensure the successful delivery of the IFP products/renewals to our members.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Determine product implementation feasibility and complexity, in collaboration with Blue Shield Compliance and Privacy departments
• Identify and manage creation of all required deliverables starting with the project charter
• Develop project budget and task schedule and drive project through funding
• Drive resource planning and engagement
• Consult on development of the benefits plan, its implementation and operational turnover
• Manage and monitor issue identification, escalation, and resolution. Manage risk identification, quantification, and risk response development
• Manage enterprise end to end deliverables and scope
• Determine project complexity and engage BSC Compliance and Privacy departments
• Securing project resources which includes resource management & production

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience including Product Knowledge and Experience
• Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience with demonstrated strong Project Management skills
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills including Conflict Resolution skills
• Six Sigma Green, SCRUM, PMP, Safe Agile or similar process methodology discipline preferred
• Competent in Microsoft (MS) Office suite with emphasis on MS Project and MS PPT
• Experience with JIRA and SharePoint 
• Health plan experience required
• Excellent cross-functional team, project, and organizational leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality customer touch points meeting all regulatory, legal, and legislative requirements to increase operational efficiency
