As a Loan Operations Specialist I, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring top-notch quality control for consumer servicing loans. Your primary responsibilities will include meticulously reviewing booked loans for accuracy and completeness, and facilitating necessary corrections in line with policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements. You'll be at the forefront of quality control, ensuring that every loan setup in our core system aligns perfectly with the documentation. Plus, you'll oversee lien perfection when applicable and maintain essential tracking records to monitor various data elements. Your expertise will also extend to performing file maintenance for accounts, ensuring everything remains in tip-top shape.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies loan set-up on core is in accordance with terms and conditions of loan. Ensures documentation and lien perfection are in place while working with lenders to address timely error resolution. Completes file maintenance accordingly; including set-up and maintenance of applicable Tracking Records for various reporting purposes.
• Review and monitor ARCU reports, including but not limited to LSI Tracking, Title Tracking, File Maintenance Tracking auditing for correctness to ensure loan information matches between systems and is in compliance with loan regulations. Verifies collateral for consumer loans and ensures liens are perfected.
• Provides support to Loan Operations department team, as needed, with cross-training opportunities in a limited backup capacity in mind.

Requirements

• It is our preference that you have one year of similar or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior first level conflict resolution and relationship building skills.
