Job Summary
Summary<br>Performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Performs preparation duties such as rinsing, peeling, slicing, and dicing fruit and vegetables. <br>-Weighs and measures ingredients. <br>
-Wraps, date-labels, and stores food items. <br>
-Cleans and organizes work areas, equipment, utensils, and service station. <br>
-Follows established recipes to prepare menu items. <br>
-Follows guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control. <br>
-Serves customers in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner. <br>
-Provides customers with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and pricing. <br>
-Escalates customer concerns and complaints to management. <br>
-Complies with relevant safety, hygiene, and service standards and procedures. <br>
Qualifications
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of role 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. - Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions. - Ability to read and write. - Ability to understand and follow safety procedures. - Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies. - Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. - Knowledge of food service lines set-up and temperature requirements. - Skill in cooking and preparing a variety of foods. - Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards'.
