Duties:   Work with Value Improvement Engineering Manager to develop concepts for design and process improvement efficiencies to improve the overall value of Fluidra products. Work with VI Engineering Manager to perform purposeful product teardowns, supplier assessment and manufacturing/sourcing footprint opportunities in the Fluidra supply chain. Design parts and assemblies using SolidWorks Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. Work with suppliers to ensure project goals are met and to resolve any engineering issues. Develop and document test plans and Engineering Changes. Analyze Fluidra products to understand how they work and how the different functions can be done in a simpler and more cost-effective way.

Requirements: The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering and 7 years of experience. Required skill set: manufacturing processes to include injection molding, sheet metal forming and tooling, assembly and testing; extensive knowledge of various types of mechanical and electro-mechanical components and their use in product designs; refrigeration system design, components involved and their function; Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma level performance; proficient knowledge of the Engineering Function processes to design and qualify new parts and product components, as well as redesign and qualify existing parts to optimize the value and the product performance.

The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of the required experience.

Salary Range: $138,216 to $150,000 Year
