As an Accounting Associate, you will play a significant role in the financial reporting and close process. As a result, your work will impact the financial statements that will be seen by different groups and levels of the company. You will help reduce the close window and implement efficiencies related to systems, financial reporting, and audits in order to support our high-paced, rapidly expanding company.

 
WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Be a key player in the month end closing process including, but not limited to, preparing journal entries, reconciling account balances, recording transactions, and performing financial analyzes.
• Manage the cash application process, including matching bank activity to the general ledger and reconciling all cash balances. Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy of bill payments and collections.
• Take ownership of the monthly accrual process to accurately capture transactions in the accounting period, including but not limited to expense reports, legal accruals, subsequently received bills, etc..
• Prepare financial reconciliations timely and be able to research and resolve variances as needed.
• Work with and support other finance teams (FP&A, AP, AR, Revenue) and perform ad-hoc projects within the scope of the role, as necessary.
• Help implement new systems or improve efficiencies with current systems to support continued company and team growth.
• Contribute to the control environment by establishing, improving, and maintaining operational processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in accounting under US GAAP. Public accounting/audit experience preferred.
• Highly detail oriented with strong experience in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP

US Salary Range$70,000—$105,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
