How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As the Lead Cartridge Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly process of cartridges from start to finish. Your role will involve coordinating with other Cartridge Technicians, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and maintaining production efficiency.

Cartridge Technicians are key members of the production team, and are tasked with building/rebuilding turboexpander cartridges, as well as collaboration with Skid production, and Test Pad teams. Cartridge Technicians are expected to work under tight tolerances with several delicate and highly machined parts.

Being the Lead Cartridge Technician, you will lead by example, demonstrate a very high level of technical expertise in turboexpander cartridges, and train other technicians to maintain the day to day performance of the department.
  • Technically lead other cartridge technicians.

  • Coordinate workflow to meet production targets and deadlines.

  • Train new team members on assembly procedures and safety protocols.

  • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure cartridges meet specifications and standards.

  • Maintain inventory of materials and order supplies as needed.

  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and resolve issues.

  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records.

  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Are you a MATCH?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, job related experience, additional technical education or certification is a plus

  • Proven experience in turboexpander cartridge assembly, with minimum 5-7 years experience

  • Strong technical expertise in turboexpander cartridges

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach team members

  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards

  • Ability to operate and maintain assembly equipment

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes

The annual base pay range for this position in California is $36.00 - $42.00 per hour. Please note that the pay rate information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
