As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
- Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
- Assist with emergency situations and/or evacuations as directed by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
