Job Summary:
The Project IT Network Administrator will assist in the design, implementation, testing, securing, operating, and troubleshooting of the mission critical computer network at the Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW). This is approximately a four (4) month full-time hourly assignment, with the possibility to become full-time after the project work is complete.
This individual must be able to work in a fast paced, start up like environment, assist to identify requirements and facilitate implementation of network technology, work with others to resolve issues, while following appropriate change control and release processes. This role reports directly to the IT Manager / Network Engineer.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation and maintenance.
- Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, campus-wide WiFi, VPN, QoS, cell DAS, etc.) to maximize efficiency and security.
- Maximizing network performance, availability and reliability through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Investigating faults and security threats in the network.
- Planning and performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, firmware updates, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Network capacity planning by monitoring resource utilization, trending, and planned projects with network dependencies.
- Work with IT Manager\ Network Engineer to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Develop and maintain network topology, data flow diagrams, operating procedures, and support documentation.
- Track inventory and life cycle of network equipment, technology refresh and software support.
- Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to the Hall of Fame Village.
- Collaborate with business units and corporate partners to ensure they build solutions consistent with the organization's policies, programs, architectural recommendations, and information security standards.
- Analyze and understand the different systems and technology present to identify any vulnerability that may jeopardize the security of the network.
- Participate in after-hours support as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
SALARY / EXEMPT POSITION
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of proven hands-on network engineering experience (e.g. routing, switching, WiFi, VPN, IPS, NAC, security, voice, monitoring, diagnostics, analytics tools, scripting, intrusion prevention, redundancy, high availability, etc.).
- Extreme Networks or Brocade/CommScope Ruckus experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline preferred but comparable experience will be considered.
- CCNA or higher (MCSA, CCIE, CISSP, Network+ highly valued).
- Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DHCP, SNMP, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, etc.)
- Fundamental understanding of OSI and/or TCP/IP models.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to deal with colleagues and customers of all backgrounds in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment.
- Patience and strong customer service skills, with ability to communicate technical information and ideas in a user-friendly language.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to evaluate and manage changes, understanding their impact on systems, the Business, colleagues, and customers.
- Demonstrated success with providing support and problem resolution with unfamiliar systems, software, and hardware.
