Business Analyst (Data Discipline)

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst to gather requirements and build data-driven solutions that meet the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in report development, SQL, and data modeling, as well as experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and build solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reports that meet the needs of the business using SQL and other reporting tools

• Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that reports are accurate and meet the needs of the business

• Continuously analyze and optimize reporting processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

• Provide training and support to stakeholders on how to use the reports and data effectively

• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

• Create visually appealing and actionable reports using Google Data Studio

• Utilise data modeling techniques to identify patterns and trends

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analysis and visualization tools

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and visualization

• Experience in dimensional data modeling (Star Schema)

• Experience with SQL

• Ability to consult, gather requirements and deliver results

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Nice-to-have Requirements:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Big Query
• Experience with R or Python

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
