How will you make an impact?
Support the globalization of business through leading, standardization and creation of applications to support the needs of quality function. Support multiple manufacturing sites by realizing quality data analytics to predict and improve Jabil product quality.
What will you do?
Accountable for leading and driving quality data and system for priority business problems across Jabil.
Proactive ability to recognize improvement areas and needs from cross functional teams through interface, integration, etc. to achieve seamless results.
Work or support cross-functional teams to improve customer metrics to ensure customer satisfaction both externally and internal and meet all regulatory requirements.
Provide mentoring and technical assistance to cross-functional teams and sites.
Assume travel international and/or domestic as appropriate visiting sites or providing support.
Lead and coordinate the standardization of systems, relevant procedures, and practices across all of the Jabil sites. And, responsible for maintenance of the system where applicable.
Ensure that current and future quality and manufacturing systems meet and/or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
Identifying impactful opportunities for the application of data and analytics capabilities and setting the vision and strategy for implementing these capabilities as quality data & system.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Jabil business priorities and needs, documenting current state processes, developing roadmaps that align to strategic objectives and developing measurable ways to use the quality data & system to drive business decision making.
Navigating ambiguity, adept at problem-solving, effective at communicating, and strong at critical and analytical thinking.
How will you get here?
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality or industrial/system engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Six Sigma Certification. Green belt or higher with knowledge in statistics.
Experience:
At least five years’ related manufacturing experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
The ability to use statistical analysis software such as Minitab would be preferred.
Ability to work independently and with all stakeholders.
Be familiar with the six sigma tools and methods, Basic statistics, ANOVA, FMEA/QCP, MSA, DOE, Sampling plan, SPC, DMAIC/8D problem solving methodology, and APQP/AQP, etc.
Strong quality culture and mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must possess the ability to write programs in Visual Basic, R, C++, Python, PowerBI, etc.
Must have experience in shop-floor management systems.
