About the role

Who is Credible?

We are a marketplace where users can compare personalized, prequalified rates and quotes from multiple lenders and carriers, for student loans, mortgages, personal loans, and insurance.

We’re challenging the status quo by giving power to the consumer. We believe in a world where ‘ethical’, ‘lending’, and ‘insurance’ can coexist, so we set out to build innovative platforms that actually work for customers. Our mission is to help people find the best loan or insurance policy possible.

We believe researching and buying loans or insurance shouldn’t be confusing or complex, so we’ve focused on simplicity. We’ve created the only unbiased loan and insurance buying process out there, which makes finding options straightforward and clear.

About the Role:

Credible is seeking a strategic, user-focused Senior Product Manager to own the user experience of our Home Insurance online marketplace. You will shape and execute the product vision, improving each step of the user journey and delivering seamless integrations. Working closely with design, engineering, data science, and marketing, you’ll launch new features, create and analyze A/B tests, segment traffic into tailored flows, and optimize the quoting and comparison journey so homeowners can confidently discover, evaluate, and bind policies across multiple carriers. Teams will look to your product leadership to set direction, drive execution, and achieve team OKRs. To be successful in this role, previous experience with insurance is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product development: Own the lifecycle for your squad from discovery → ideation → PRD → launch → iteration; run agile sprints that ship impactful features.

  • Own the funnel: Drive measurable improvements in quote starts, completion rate, bind rate, time-to-quote, revenue per visitor, and NPS.

  • Experiment relentlessly: Design, run, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to constantly improve the product

  • Be data-driven: Instrument events, define KPIs and dashboards, analyze behavior and conversion trends, and turn insights into roadmap priorities.

  • Craft exceptional UX: Partner with design to create intuitive flows that clarify coverages, limits, deductibles, endorsements, and discounts (incl. bundles) with plain language.

  • Define clear specs: Write thoughtful PRDs and requirements; align stakeholders and ensure edge cases, error states, and success criteria are explicit.

  • Stay compliant: Partner with legal/compliance on state-by-state rules, disclosures, and auditability.

  • Communicate and align: Share strategy, progress, and learnings with leadership and cross-functional partners.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a Product Management role focused on online consumer oriented financial marketplaces or online shopping.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to use data, your experience and product instincts to identify the most impactful areas of focus
  • Strong analytical abilities, including experience with Excel and other analytics tools
  • Exceptional problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, and willingness/ability to own critical parts of the product, end-to-end
  • Thrive on collaboration with other teams to accomplish shared goals
  • Technical aptitude - whether through education or experience, it's important that you can work closely with engineers to evaluate different approaches to implementing product features, weighing cost/benefit tradeoffs
