Senior Business Analyst

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities  

• Prepare requirements document, which will be then used by the engineering team to develop/ makes changes to the system application.
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
• Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of Business Analyst experience with a focus on the Banking & Capital Markets industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional working experience within Agile or Scrum environments
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the banking and capital markets sector
• Expertise in evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in conducting high-impact meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with senior management and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in interacting with business users to identify their needs, gather requirements, and author Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) including Epics, Features, User Stories across the deliverables of a project.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
