Their work will impact and change future generations! Girl Scouts of Central California South (GSCCS) is looking for a dynamic Product Programs Manager to join our team in Fresno, CA!
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Product Program Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the Council's Product program strategies and campaigns. This position is directly involved in new product development, metrics, and guiding staff, volunteers, and Girl Scouts on programmatic information and training. This position is responsible for a full spectrum of activities related to the Cookie Program and the Fall Product Programs, including planning, logistics, inventory forecasting and control, volunteer and girl support and training, product incentives, and coordination with other Council units and functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees and manages product program department revenue milestones and goals; contributes and develops the implementation of product program strategic plans to achieve participation goals.
- Responsible for hiring, training, supervising and evaluating product program department staff.
- Prepares product program data, monitor trends and analyze reports in product programs sales, participation, and regional differences.
- Oversees inventory management, logistics planning and collection of all product program funds in collaboration with finance department to settle all delinquent accounts.
- Negotiates with vendors and develops a strong working relationship with vendor partnerships.
- Collaborates with various department leads to execute annual fall and spring product programs successfully.
- Works with the Executive Team to establish and execute the operational goals, objectives, and plans for product sales in a designated geographic area.
- Works with the Chief Financial Officer to develop an annual operating budget for product sales and recognition lines for such sales, taking into consideration the needs of their designated geographic area.
- Manages and maintains the administration of the computer programs (SmartCookies, Digital Cookie, M2, etc.) for sales, keeps accurate records and data from past and present sales, and produces weekly and final sales reports, status on organizational goals for product programs, and sending reports to the Executive Team for review.
- Executes and coordinates the warehousing of products including storage and distribution. Secures initial delivery and floating warehouse locations. Monitors product inventory in Council, Service Unit, and Troops and serves as the liaison with the transportation/logistics, and warehouses.
- Oversee the implementation of the strategic plan for Girl Scout product sales.
- Oversee and coordinate the process for collection of delinquent accounts.
- Responsible for the final report to the Chief Financial Officer that includes the cost of Service Unit and Troop recognitions, Cookie Dollars, and Nut Bucks.
- Oversee the ordering and planning of incentives for Fall Product and Cookie program.
- Collaborates with the VP of Marketing and Communications to develop the communications strategy for market sales both externally and internally; manages the development of printed materials for the sales each year including Cookie and Fall Product Manuals, for Service Units, Troops and parents including but not limited to the responsibility and permission forms.
