Who we’re looking for

Toyota is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Fleet Operations and Technology Senior Manager.
 
The primary responsibility of this role is to partner with Fleet Services – Senior manager, Fleet GM, and cross-organizational leadership to define and execute an integrated strategy that achieves New Business Launch targets by aligning products (new/existing), people, and process/technology.
 
Reporting to the General Manager – Private Label and Fleet Management, the person in this role will support the development of the Fleet Management Business.

What you’ll be doing 

•    Partner with Fleet Services – Senior manager, Fleet GM, and cross-organizational leadership to define and execute an integrated strategy that achieves New Business Launch targets by aligning products (new/existing), people, and process/technology. 
•    Champion strategic initiatives to enhance capabilities, drive efficiencies, and self-service thru digital/automation, AI, and platform solutions. 
•    Oversee team leading the fleet services factory operations which include the backlog, refinement, prioritization, delivery, reporting, and managing of various stakeholders.  Collaborating to manage Work Stream leads.
•    Establish business case and gain approval for required resources and investments to enable infrastructure, platform, and new business models. 
•    Partner with cross-organizational and global innovation/data teams to test and evaluate products and usage-based fleet services to support emerging global fleet and mobility strategies.
•    In partnership with the Senior Manager Fleet Services, provide cross-organizational leadership for the Fleet Management line of business.
•    Research and become a Subject Matter Expert on process/technology options for Fleet Management, Mobility, direct, and indirect (dealerships) relating to Fleet Management Services.
•    Strong strategic, analytical, and innovative thinking. 
•    Experience leading and executing strategic transformation initiatives while aligning multiple stakeholder groups.
•    Ability to identify and assess new business opportunities and emerging technologies and provide recommendations on solution feasibility from a people, process, and technology perspective.
•    Collaborate with cross-organizational leaders to develop aligned plans for achieving sales, profit, and customer /dealer experience objectives.
•    Work with Leadership Team to translate long-range strategy into tangible product strategies that drive sales, profitability, and loyalty.
•    Work with team members to develop compelling business cases and gain executive approval for funding to ensure required investments in infrastructure and new business models.
•    Collaborate with business and IDS teams to develop enterprise Fleet technology roadmap, investment, and architecture plan that enables TFS to compete in current and future business models.
•    Assess and engage vendors that enable the delivery of key strategic initiatives.
•    Work with team members to develop & execute enhanced pricing and product capability plans and initiatives.
•    Train team members in the organization on the principles of the agile delivery model.
•    Work with cross-organizational data and innovation teams to determine how Fleet Management can leverage automation, AI, and platform solutions to improve efficiencies and increase self-service options.
•    Partner with cross-organization innovation teams to test and evaluate Fleet Management products and services to support global mobility strategy.
•    Work with Strategic Planning, Strategic Innovation, Toyota Connected, Kinto, and other groups to ensure a thorough understanding of evolving customer needs/preferences, potential markets/segments, competitive landscape, and emerging trends/solutions in the fleet space.
•    As part of the Fleet Management leadership team, support recruiting and calibration across the team.
•    Drive the development of an integrated Fleet Management strategy and capabilities to plan across departments promoting the Shared Services model.
•    Identify project interdependencies and overlaps and develop alignment strategies.
•    Improve communication and collaboration within and across project teams supporting Fleet Management line of business.

Qualifications

What you bring 

•    Four-Year College Degree (BA or BS).
•    10+ years of relevant work experience (in a similar field and/or industry).
•    Ability to apply analytical thinking in assessing new opportunities.

Added bonus if you have 

•    Advanced Degree. Specify: MBA.
•    Previous experience in Fleet Management.
