Social Work Supervisor LCSW- Inpatient Psych - NYP-Brooklyn Methodist - Days

SW Supervisor needed to provide supervision to inpatient psychiatric social workers.   The position oversees the work of the social workers, mentors them, and helps them hone their skills.  The supervisor must be able to address clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment plans as well as issues related to engagement and discharge.  The supervisor must have knowledge of serious and persistent mental illness as well as the service system that provides their care. This is a full time day shift, working Monday - Friday. 

 

Preferred Criteria 

• Prior experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting 

• Prior supervisory experience

 

Required Criteria 

• 3+ years of experience as a Social Worker in a psychiatric setting

• Competency in individual, family and group treatment modalities and treatment techniques appropriate to an inpatient treatment setting

• Knowledge base of community and discharge planning resources and processes

• New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Master Degree in Social Work

$111,000-$149,000/Annual
