Personal Lines Sales Supervisor

Oversees daily agency production for the Personal Lines Insurance department. Develops and executes strategies to effectively prospect, quote, sell, and retain Personal Lines insurance products. Responsible for day-to-day management of the department and staff and creates an atmosphere of quality growth, underwriting excellence, development, and job satisfaction to all agents and service personnel. This includes recruiting, selecting, training, retaining, and developing agents and service personnel. Monitors carrier relationships, competitive position, and regulatory requirements and recommends responses to changing conditions. Acts as a liaison with other departments in the interpretation of insurance products and programs and related rules, procedures and requirements. Establishes and maintains relationships with third party service providers to enhance delivery, product range, service, and growth. Ensures service delivery, member interaction and adherence to structured agreements are consistent and exceed standards. Develop strong knowledge and capability of agency management systems used. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values. Qualifications Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum of seven (7) years of insurance industry experience with some prior sales management and/or entrepreneurial experience. Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience. Property & Casualty Insurance licenses. Superior, interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated self-initiative and the ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision. Strong accounting, financial and analytical skills, as well as demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking.
