Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Navy Veteran with extensive Ballistic Missile Defense and technical management experience as a Senior Naval Officer to fill the Operations Planner Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Subject Matter Expert (SME) position as part of the Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) team.
We need the rare skill set in Ballistic Missile Defense training configuration, operation, maintenance, and management that you have developed through your Naval Careers to assist the TTPG team in executing their mission of providing tactical training to ships in the basic phase through Fleet Synthetic Training (FST). Be on the cutting edge of Live Virtual Training and make a difference to our Navy’s capability at the same time.
Join this exceptional team of Technical Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Equipment Technicians and Equipment Operators in the configuration and operation of the Fleet Battle Lab and Modeling & Simulation Control Centers; Synthetic Training Event Planning, Integration and Execution; BMD Systems and Training Support; Tactical Data Management Support and Executive Agent Support.
Requirements
- 20 or more years of Surface Navy experience including technical management as a Naval Officer supervising combat systems configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Scenario development, scripting, and role-playing experience or recent Combat Systems Training Team experience.
- Simulation configuration and operation experience preferably using Joint Semi Automated Forces. (JSAF)
- 5 or more years' experience as a BMD Subject Matter Expert.
- BMD Combat Systems Coordinator/Watch Officer/Tactical Action Officer qualification with experience conducting BMD operations or equivalent joint/agency BMD operations.
- Project planning.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued Secret security clearance.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an unspecified field of study from a university or accredited college, or equivalent operational experience.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
