Instantly. </p> <p>Thunes is headquartered in Singapore with regional offices in London, Paris, Barcelona, Shanghai, New York, Dubai, and Nairobi. </p> <p><strong>Context of the role</strong></p> <p>As the Network Development Director (Thunes Collections), your primary goal is to expand our collections network by activating the most relevant local payment methods across the region. The primary focus is to develop new or expand existing partnerships with local banks , mobile wallet operators and strategic payment providers across the region.</p> <p><strong>Key R</strong><strong>esponsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Open up collection capabilities from existing partners such as banks and wallet providerS</li> <li>Engage other payment methods that are not current Thunes payout partners to bring them onboard as payment method partners</li> <li>Manage the end to end sales process from sourcing new leads to closing deals with new partners to expand our collections network</li> <li>Monitor market trends and stay up to date with the key payment methods across the region</li> <li>Leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnerships and product strategies with banks and networks, partnering with business development and various stakeholders (including risk, product, engineering, compliance, legal, and treasury)</li> <li>Provide timely feedback to line manager about performance, sales activity, account management status and strategy planned</li> <li>Ensure satisfaction amongst existing accounts to achieve positive account retention and contractual health</li> <li>Work with our local legal teams to assess any legal implication for each market associated to the payment methods</li> <li>Work with various other stakeholders to prepare and update product price and cost calculation, product items and descriptions, service specification and product support documents</li> <li>Manage the local and regional product portfolio</li> <li>Collect information such as technical documentation and pricing models</li> <li>Take into account financial, functional, technical, regulatory, legal and operational analysis</li> <li>Communicate proactively with Thunes &amp; international entities</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree minimum</li> <li>Have at least 10+ years of partnerships and business development experience working with Financial Institutions, Mobile Wallet Providers, Banks and payments companies across the region.</li> <li>Strong negotiator and ability to pitch, sell and manage stakeholders at a C level</li> <li>Strong understanding of the payment ecosystem within the region and with good knowledge on the most relevant payment methods across the region</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership with a focus on getting things done autonomously</li> <li>Strong communication skills and ability to influence counterparts/stakeholders at various levels</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritise and guide teams through competing demands and complex problems.</li> <li>Ability to travel frequently across the region</li> <li>Possess the experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including compliance, legal, solutions delivery, and treasury across</li> <li>Initiate and maintain strong working relationship with colleagues to ease communication channels and facilitate resolutions of issues.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisation and prioritisation skills</li> </ul>
