WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

This role is ideal for a hands‑on maintenance leader who enjoys developing people, improving reliability, and keeping critical manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

  • Contribute to the reliability and performance of the facility by delivering a customer‑focused approach to property maintenance, building systems, and facility services across the Anoka campus.

  • Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team by supervising electricians and maintenance technicians, coordinating daily work, and partnering with external vendors to ensure repairs and preventive maintenance are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

  • Ensure uptime of critical systems by supporting the operation, maintenance, and long‑term reliability of major building, safety, and security systems.

  • Be a visible leader in safety and compliance by partnering closely with the EH&S team to support environmental, safety, and energy compliance initiatives.

  • Coach, mentor, and performance‑manage your team by setting clear expectations, building accountability, and fostering engagement and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate across the site by working closely with manufacturing, engineering, EH&S, and other departments to prioritize work, coordinate workflows, and lead maintenance and improvement projects.

  • Drive structured maintenance execution by using CMMS tools to plan, track, and improve maintenance activities while balancing daily priorities and longer‑term initiatives.

YOU HAVE:

  • Post‑secondary education such as an Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or military technical training preferred.

  • Strong electrical knowledge or background (highly preferred), with the ability to support troubleshooting and system reliability.

  • 2+ years of people‑leadership experience, with ability to hire, train, coach, develop, and evaluate team members through clear expectations and ongoing feedback.

  • Experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and operational needs.

  • Hands‑on experience using a CMMS (Maintenance Connection preferred) to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset reliability.

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, and maintenance documentation.
