Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure all incoming shipments are processed and stocked in a timely manner; ensures daily outbound shipments are completed and shipped on time.  Communicates with team members and customers to insure mistakes are minimized.
• Ensure parts are stocked in the correct bin or location.
• Ensure all paperwork and inventory systems are kept updated.
• Communicates with other team members and ensure all customers, internal and external, are kept informed.
• Escalate issues to the Parts Manager/Operations Manager as needed.
• Observes the company’s safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations.
• Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• All other duties related to the position and other requested by supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior warehouse receiving and dispatching experience
• Experience using inventory software
• Forklift licensing and/or certification
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Past experience with word processing systems and spreadsheets
