Our corporate office in Livonia, Michigan is currently seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to join our ever-growing Finance team! The Senior Director of FP&A is responsible for leading and driving monthly analysis and board reporting, annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and partnering with the business on ad hoc analyses. The Senior Director of FP&A is also responsible for leading the long-range plan development to drive growth and value creation, and for creating clear, concise, and compelling communications for all stakeholders. The FP&A team will analyze and have a strong understanding of the business to concisely explain financial performance, supervise and drive process improvements to ensure financial statements and the short and long-term forecasts are accurate and reported in a timely manner. He/she will present and interpret financial reports to senior management. The Senior Director will work closely as a business partner with Corporate Finance, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations and other Finance peers on a day-to-day basis to drive business performance.

Primary Responsibilities:
- The Senior Director must possess a keen business understanding to identify innovative solutions and supervise the preparation of reliable and insightful financial reports and forecasts for the dynamic and high growth enterprise.
- The Senior Director will be expected to build out a financial planning and analysis team to support the Company’s needs as it continues to grow by hiring, training, and developing qualified personnel
- Identifying and implementing improvements to business processes and technology solutions.
- Leadership of the FP&A team responsible for the preparation monthly board reporting, annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and other analyses to deliver insights and recommendations to the business to drive timely decision-making.
- Responsible for telling the Mastronardi story to stakeholders through clear, concise, and compelling communications, including regular board reporting, bank presentations, shareholder communications, and other touchpoints with key stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce adherence to finance calendars for monthly reporting, annual budget, and forecasts to hold finance and business stakeholders accountable to delivering on agreed timelines to support stakeholder deliverables.
- Support implementation of IT strategic projects, including overseeing the FP&A team’s testing and implementation of data warehouse, BI reporting, and analytics.
- Lead the preparation of forecasts anticipating business trends and issues that are expected to cause variances from the annual budget, including 12-month rolling forecasts.
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget, including pre-budget analysis and research, for certain areas of the business.
- Lead the preparation of the Company’s long-range strategic plan development to drive long-term value creation.
- Mentor a team of professional staff through development of and consistent feedback on individual and team goals aligned with company objectives.
- Drive processes improvements and efficiencies within the Finance Department to provide timely and value-added financial reporting and analysis.
- Support the Business Development team through M&A due diligence.
- Identify key performance drivers (metrics) and opportunities that can be leveraged to improve the Company’s profitability and create value for all stakeholders.
- Understands strategic plans and ensures metrics in place to track progress against key strategic goals and value creation.
