Acentra is looking for a WA Operations, Principal to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Principal to join our high-performing team to oversee and optimize all aspects of our healthcare organization's operational activities. The Operations Principal will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of services, maintaining compliance with client service level agreements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational performance.  This is a vital, client-facing, team-supporting role within the highly effective global team that operates and enhances the ProviderOne Medicaid Management Information System for the State of Washington.

The WA Operations Principal is responsible for delivery of operations or infrastructure services across the WA contract and oversees resources within the Operations and Infrastructure teams. This role has broad responsibility for execution of client and vendor contracts. This role is a member of the WA Program Management team and reports directly to the WA Program Director.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Coordinates and directs the day-to-day Medicaid Management Information System operations and directly oversees maintenance and operations activities for the State of Washington’s Health Care Authority.

·       Directs WA Operations and/or Infrastructure teams.

·       Works independent of supervision.

·       Provides highly strategic direction.

·       Leads rapid incident response efforts, communicating with our client and resolves incidents quickly.

·       Stays on top of issues in daily operations and ensures issues are resolved as quickly as possible.

·       Plans and oversees operational projects and infrastructure maintenance activities and oversees staff within the WA Operations and Infrastructure teams.

·       Oversees compliance to Service Level Agreements, includes monitoring and tracking client specific SLAs to ensure SLAs are met.  If an SLA is not met, works with teams on corrective actions to prevent missing SLAs in the future.

·       Provides tactical direction to teams delivering contract services.

·       Serves as liaison with key subcontractors and vendors at the contract level.

·       Works closely with subcontractors and vendors and provides input for subcontractor and vendor contracts.

·       Manages vendors in accordance with the corporate vendor management program requirements.

·       Participates the in development and implementation of strategic plans across Operations functional teams.

·       Develops and maintains resource plans across Operations functional teams.

·       Leads key management decisions working closely with senior management.

·       Fosters and demonstrates thought leadership in improving operations and infrastructure functions.

·       Ensures that project initiatives deliver on expectations of functionality, timeliness, and quality within their specialized skill groups.

·       Develops relevant metrics for the Operations function and uses metrics as a basis for communication and continuous improvement.

·       Provides support in transformation and change management initiatives as they pertain to the Operations team and to Acentra Health’s overall business strategy and objectives.

·       Demonstrates advanced knowledge of operations and infrastructure methodologies, best practices, and procedures; and applies them to projects to ensure that Operations team objectives are achieved.

·       Interfaces with senior management and can be called upon to provide industry best practices.
