Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Works directly with the Shift Lead to manage, control and direct resources to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled organizational-level maintenance utilizing applicable Air Force directives/instructions on MQ-9 aircraft and associated equipment.
- Directs and assists in the inspection, troubleshooting, and operations of communications equipment to include Ground Control Stations, Ground Data Terminals, standard 6 radio frequency, line-of-sight, beyond line-of-sight, wideband, ground-based satellite, peripheral computer/communications and cryptographic equipment.
- Schedules satellite communications airtime and coordinates link activation with Department of Defense and civilian agencies.
- Assembles, connects, secures and interconnects components such as transmitters, power supplies and antenna assemblies.
- Monitors and de-conflicts transmit/receive signals to ensure optimum performance and prevents interference with other satellite users.
- Installs network technical solutions for real-time video dissemination via Remote Split Operations architecture.
- Enforces strict adherence to technical data and management procedures.
- Ensures aircraft and equipment forms and Maintenance Information System documentation is complete, accurate and accomplished. Implements disaster control duties and responsibilities pertaining to aircraft/SE movement and personnel evacuation.
- Follows established CANN procedures and updates CANN action status on assigned aircraft.
- Understands aircraft status and inventory reporting as covered in Air Force Instruction 21-103 and applicable supplements. Informs and provides aircraft status updates to Shift Lead and the Maintenance Operations Control Center.
- Verifies MICAP conditions exist and reviews MICAP‘s status daily for accuracy.
- Ensures strict compliance and adherence with environmental directives and applicable environmental protection/compliance guidance.
- Ensures compliance with applicable government safety directives, standards, and industrial safety publications.
- Encourages a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no lost time accidents.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Must have at least four (4) years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience on the MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 aircraft.

- Eligible and obtain (if required) a DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
- Must have a valid US Passport.
- Must successfully complete CONUS Recovery Center (CRC) training to deploy.
