About the role

The Copay Mail Clerk is responsible for managing the efficient and timely handling of incoming and outgoing mail and packages for the organization. This role ensures all correspondence is accurately sorted, distributed, and dispatched in accordance with company procedures. The Copay Mail Clerk maintains organized mailroom operations, assists with shipping and courier services, and provides general administrative support related to mail and document handling. Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong sense of organization are essential for success in this position.

  • Incoming Mail – Receive, sort, open, log, and secure returned mail.
  • Outgoing Mail – Prepare, review, seal, and affix postage to outgoing mail.
  • Record Keeping – Track mail, update CRM, and maintain logs of mail in accordance to department processes.
  • Inventory Management – Monitor and manage inventory of mailroom supplies and submit orders to department leadership.
  • Equipment Operation – Use and maintain mailing equipment and supplies, such as postage meters, scales, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Customer Service – Assist internal associates with mail-related inquiries and services.
  • Logistics – Coordinate with postal services and other courier companies for pickups and deliveries.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic typing skills and familiarity with mailroom operations.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and sorting mail.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of records management and mail sorting procedures.
  • Previous mailroom experience preferred
