What We’re Looking For

This position is responsible for providing student support for the Dallas Executive MBA program within the Graduate Business Programs Department. The position will coordinate, manage, and execute daily operational tasks for the Executive MBA student experience. This position also collaborates and assists in developing and implementing assigned departmental projects, exercising initiative and independence in performing assigned duties. 

A Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required.  A Masters degree and 5 years or experience is preferred. Experience in lieu of the educational requirement will not be considered. 

This position is located in Dallas, TX. and is Part-Time. Hybrid work may be considered on a case by case basis.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. 

What You Will Do

  • Support and lead student engagement activities which include all student services (student advising, student events)
  • Manage student operations, including but not limited to, student communication, processing forms, and registration of newly admitted students
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement for the betterment of student services by improving processes and creating efficiency, as needed.  
  • Maintain ongoing communication with current students through Canvas, email and text as needed.
  • Foster and maintain strategic relationships with internal constituents such as registrar, student financial services and the Graduate School  
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with the School of Nursing and Baylor Scott and White Hospital
  • Coordinate orders for purchases and events and procure promotional items and materials as required  
  • Delegate operational tasks to student workers effectively 
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the EMBA office.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation such as lists, process documentations, scripts, etc.  
  • Work with the Graduate School to update student records.  
  • Update and maintain Bear’s Den in Canvas
  • Work closely with administrative partners on resolving student issues (ITS, financial aid, student accounts, and registrar).  
  • Assist with planning residencies and attend trips as needed 
  • Collaborate with the enrollment team to schedule and prepare for class visitors during class weekends
  • Engage with class visitors and speak with them about the EMBA program and provide detailed information to support enrollment coordinator
  • Facilitate the distribution of welcome boxes to newly admitted students
  • Maintain partnership  with the enrollment coordinator to establish and update communication to newly admitted EMBA students  
  • Oversee the onboarding experience for newly admitted students. This includes participating and planning orientation twice a year, communicating and working with incoming students on prep work (forms, IDs, StrengthsFinder, posting Bios, academic pre work, etc.) 
  • Perform all duties as assigned to support Baylor’s missions.  
  • Ability to comply with University policies.  
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
