Job Description

• You are senior expert in the area of analog ASIC design and you have experience in the guidance of design teams.
• You take over the responsibility for complex ASIC development projects, esp. for the technical coordination in the acquisition and design phase until the ramp up and series release.
• You develop innovative functions, circuit concepts and methods – in cooperation with internal partners and stakeholders.
• You harmonize solutions and procedures with the project team and system architects internally and and the customers.
• You develop concepts, implement circuits, analyze the technical requirements and integrate modules in innovative automotive ASICs
• You take care for the content and structure of the tasks and work packages which you realize with the analog design team.
• You work in an international team and you supervise internal and external project partners. With them you develop the integrated semiconductor circuits to ensure a full functional delivery in time.

Qualifications

• Education: Completed university degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) in electrical engineering or equivalent, with outstanding results, preferably in the field of microelectronics / semiconductor development
• Personality: You are independent, assertive, structured, goal-oriented, a team player and communicative.
• Working Practice: You work in a customer-focused manner and lead one or more sub-teams in Analog Design.
• Experience and Knowledge: You have at least 5 years of professional experience in ASIC development (preferably in the automotive environment), knowledge of modern ASIC design methods, experience with analog or mixed-signal design, and sound knowledge of analog circuit technology with a focus on one or more of the following topics: regulator circuits (LDOs and/or switching regulators), charge pumps, current sensing circuits, GPIOs , voltage references, physical interfaces, etc.
• Qualification: Preferred - Application know-how in the area of automotive smart power and sensor ASICs (safety, electrified, system IC, PMIC, sensor readout IC, SIP, driver circuits)
• Languages: English and advanced German language skills higher than B2-level
