We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Crime Manager within our 2nd line Risk Function to provide financial crime advice, oversight and support to the UK Insurance, Wealth and Retirement (IWR) business. Acting as a valuable, valued and trusted risk advisory partner to IWR customers and stakeholders.

A bit about the job:

As the Senior Financial Crime Manager, you will identify/anticipate changes in order to advise internally and externally on best decision and practice. Having a flexible and pragmatic approach to respond to developments at short notice is important, along with the ability to plan in response to a changing risk landscape and regulatory environment with a multi-year horizon. This is a varied role and you would be expected to deliver financial crime planned activities and analysis, along with pro-actively considering risks and issues, looks for pragmatic solutions that consider factors such as customer impact, quality, people, process and results.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong fraud prevention and/or anti-bribery and corruption experience in a UK regulated environment essential

• Expertise in one or more of the following areas beneficial but not essential: Anti Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Proliferation Financing, Sanctions, Facilitation of Tax Evasion, regulations and industry good practice

• Experience of building and maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders

• Able to communicate complex technical concepts to specialist/non-specialist audiences

• Risk aware, with experience in evaluating risk as part of business-as-usual activities

• Salary circa £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
