Position Overview: The HR Data Analyst supports a critical role within Human Resources by working to centralize and streamline HR reporting and data for the organization. This role necessitates close collaboration with multiple HR teams and other departments to collect, assess, and deliver data for strategic decision-making. This role provides support in an analytical and operational capacity in multifaceted areas such as: HRIS systems, statistical and metric reporting, recruitment, retention, benefits, payroll, compliance, diversity, compensation, and HR records retention. The HR Analyst will be responsible for assisting and organizing the data that will help drive organizational strategy company-wide. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide project and analytical support to the HR department and organization for overall strategic alignment   
  • Develop and organize HR data analysis and reporting structure to identify trends and report findings 
  • Compile metrics from various HR data sources such as performance management, exit data, and HRIS to support management discussions and decisions and provide narrative analysis  
  • Assist in the annual compensation and merit planning cycle through data validation and worksheet building 
  • Provide analytical and administrative support in updating compensation benchmark reports, pay equity audits, job grades, salary ranges, and job description grades 
  • Lead or support special projects including identifying opportunities for data automation and organization across all HR software  
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Records Management, and MIS teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance 
  • Produce monthly and quarterly turnover reports, headcount and vacancy reports, and assist with compensation data management  
  • Assist with completion of annual compliance reporting including PAAA and EEO reporting  
  • Organize and monitor the set-up of measurement tools to evaluate and monitor the performance and effectiveness of HR programs 
  • Ensure accuracy of all employee data across all HR systems by maintaining data integrity, managing processes, and performing reconciliations across all HRIS systems  
  • Provide benefits new hire orientation support to the Total Rewards team as needed  
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business, Data, Technology, or equivalent experience  
  • 2 years of experience in HRIS or related field(s) preferred 
  • Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now and Lattice preferred or similar HRIS system  
  • Intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)   
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data reporting, modeling, and validation techniques (querying, lookups, pivot tables, cleansing, publishing) 
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, R, or similar software desired  
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills, attention to detail, and follow-through  
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, with multiple competing deadlines 
  • Ability to learn new systems/technology thoroughly and quickly  
  • Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects
