The Manager, Infrastructure Products (ITOM) must possess a deep knowledge of Assurant systems, applications and infrastructure and will work closely with application, platform, and technology owners to ensure accurate and complete data in the CMDB and optimized ITOM processes. This person must also demonstrate an aptitude for ITOM technology and be able to drive continuous maturity in support of business needs and strategy. The person in this role is engaged frequently in highly visible initiatives and activities, including reliability, disaster recovery, audit and compliance. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization is a key success factor for this leader.
The working manager of the ITOM platform will serve as both the leader for the team of Assurant engineers but will also lead the execution of the strategy and vision for this technology to ensure Assurant is realizing the value of its investment and aligned to organizational needs.
The ServiceNow platform provides critical services to the organization, especially for IT Operations Management. The ITOM product is comprised of the CMDB discovery technology, service maps of business applications, and alerting and event management for our monitoring systems. Not only does ITOM play a central role in operations, but the CMDB is relied on heavily for compliance/audit, security, reliability and asset management.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
5+ years of ServiceNow technical experience
3+ years of managing or leading people is desired
Experience with CMDB is highly desired
Experience defining and developing product roadmaps
What other skill or experience would be useful in this role?
Bachelor’s degree in technology discipline
Professional certifications
Developing a product catalog of services
Configuring, developing, recommending system changes and implementing policies around IT Service Management
Developing technical knowledge documentation and presenting to technical associates
Mentoring and coaching staff to stay aligned with long-term strategic goals
Facilitating presentations, meetings, and discussions to all levels of the organization
Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite of tools
Proficient with building relationships, and collaborating across and extended enterprise (employee, partners, and customers)

Pay Range:
$101,500.00 - $169,400.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
