About the role

We're seeking a Senior Mobile Developer (React Native) to join our Helsinki or Oulu studio, working with leading Nordic brands on transformative digital experiences. You'll be part of cross-functional teams delivering cutting-edge commerce solutions across mobile apps and modern web frontends for clients in retail, consumer goods, and lifestyle sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile digital commerce projects with brands that are pushing the boundaries of shopping experiences in the Nordics and beyond, leveraging both native mobile technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks. You'll have an essential role in technical implementation from concept to delivery.

What we expect

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development
• Experience with both cross-platform frameworks (React Native) and native mobile (iOS with Swift/SwiftUI or Android with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose)
• Deep understanding of modern application architecture patterns and best practices
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.)
• Experience building e-commerce frontends with headless commerce platforms
• Knowledge of performance optimization, SEO, and web vitals
• Proven experience working in client-facing or consulting environments
• Track record of leading technical implementations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) in Finnish and English
• Possibility to work from our own office 2–3 days per week

These are a bonus:

• Proficiency in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling
• Experience in building responsive, performant e-commerce experiences integrated with headless commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify Hydrogen/Liquid, Commerce Layer, commercetools, etc.)
• Knowledge of headless CMS solutions (e.g. Sanity, Contentful, Storyblok)
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, and Storybook
• Understanding of Web Components and framework-agnostic approaches
• Knowledge of mobile and web analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices
• Background working with GraphQL and modern API paradigms
• Experience in leading client projects and technical teams
• Experience working in hybrid and international teams
