JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Unit Assistant is a multi-skilled position that combines elements from both the Licensed Nursing Assistant and the Unit Secretary and is responsible for specific aspects of direct/indirect care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, and for the secretarial aspects of the nursing unit.

The Cardiovascular Unit is open Monday-Friday from 6 am -18:30 pm. The LNA/US shifts are 6:00-14:30 or 6:30-15:00. The CVU is looking for a per diem LNA/Unit Secretary that can work to cover vacations and illnesses.

This is a bargaining union position.
