Salary:

National: £54,358 - £61,585 (which may include an allowance of up to £2,517)

London: £58,847 - £66,670 (which may include an allowance of up to £4,828)

The Role

We’re recruiting for a Senior Transition Manager here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative Strategic Initiatives team, working alongside Delivery Managers, Service Owners, Procurement teams and countless specialists within the Technology Services Team and wider MoJ. 

This role aligns against Lead Service Transition Manager from the Government Digital and Data Framework
This is an exciting time where multiple large scale (£100m+) service contracts have expired, and require action to provide continuity of service across the MoJ Estate, in addition to planning the future of over 100 other Technology Services contracts.

During this period, we are taking the opportunity to look at how those services can best be improved and delivered, including driving convergence across the MoJ estate. This will ensure MoJ staff and the public are able to benefit from a consistent, fit for purpose, cost effective and secure IT service, through:

  • Reviewing the scope of services provided and looking at the potential for the MoJ to take more direct ownership of some of these services in the future.
  • Breaking up the large, complex contracts into smaller, flexible, and competitive specialist services.
  • Engaging the market with the aim of taking advantage of innovation and the latest available technologies for future replacement contracts.

As the Senior Transition Manager, you will be accountable for the orderly transition of in-scope technology services to new suppliers and in-house teams.
