Job Description

ECOM’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking an exceptional Mid-Level Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) Consultant to join our ICT Team. This position is also open to a remote working situation.    

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform complex and unique assignments including survey, design, development, and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects
  • Be responsible for ICT design and consulting for:
    • Telecom, Nurse Call, and Security systems
    • Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)
    • Campus / Wide Area Networks (WAN)
    • Passive Optical Networks (PON)
  • Perform specific and/or limited ICT Design and Consulting duties as part of a team of expert Consultants
  • Gather and correlate engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
  • Work on detailed and/or routine design and/or consulting assignments
  • Propose solutions to solve new and/or complex problems encountered
  • Provide guidance and direction to internal mid-level consultants and production staff
  • Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university plus four (4) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • US Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of design experience with ICT infrastructure
  • Professional experience and/or proficiency in various software products, including but not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and other ICT Specific Programs
  • Professional experience and understanding of various codes, standards and regulations
  • A security clearance is preferred but not required
