Title: Scada Ignition Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:
This position is responsible for leading the digitization of over ISO-compliant shop-floor forms utilized in production, quality, and engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The forms will be reconstructed in Palantir Foundry and integrated with live data streams from SCADA systems via OPC-UA.
Your role
- Conduct a comprehensive baseline assessment of current forms and operational workflows.
- Identify and validate required SCADA data points, ensuring their availability within Ignition or similar SCADA platforms.
- Coordinate and execute the form build and digitization process in Palantir, in alignment with established ontology models.
- Eliminate paper-based data entry, enhancing traceability, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Enable advanced analytics through real-time data capture and modeling.
- Oversee final validation, testing, training, and handoff to operators and engineers.
Your skills and experience
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, expert in driving process improvements, implementing lean methodologies, and harnessing digital solutions to enhance productivity• Proven experience with manufacturing data systems, SCADA (preferably Ignition), and digital transformation initiatives
- Experience with OPC-UA protocol and shop-floor data integration
- Knowledge of Palantir Foundry or similar advanced analytics platforms
- Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to train and support technical and operational staff.
- Experience in ISO-compliant manufacturing environments
- Expertise in data modeling and analytics
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
