Summary
Tango has an exciting new opportunity to join the clinical team as a Manager, Biosamples to support teams across multiple clinical trials, including external collaborators, biorepositories, laboratories, and CROs. You will report into the Translational Clinical Research Team, and will work collaboratively across functions to ensure implementation, compliance, and support of clinical biosample plans and management for Tango’s clinical trials.
Your role
- You will collaborate with Translational Clinical Research and Clinical Pharmacology to implement biomarker strategies in support of clinical development for Tango’s compounds.
- Support review of biomarker-relevant content in clinical study documents (e.g., study protocols, laboratory manuals, study tools, site-facing training materials, etc.)
- Implement functional requirements to set up central laboratories and configure laboratory collection kits.
- Drive biomarker sample management and biosample tracking functions in support of teams overseeing clinical studies.
- Support implementation of biomarker collection and analyses, in compliance with sponsor processes and local regulations
- Work with clinical sites as needed, to ensure timely and accurate biosample collection in support of study biomarker plans.
- Assist in generating biomarker data deliverables, in collaboration with research, translational, statistics, and clinical science team members.
- Participated in committees driving workstream innovation and continuous improvement in processes and procedures, governing biomarker usage and data reporting.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required.
What You Bring
- You will have a bachelor’s degree in a life science-based concentration.
- 5+ years clinical research experience
- Biotech or pharmaceutical sponsor experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with third party central laboratory vendors.
- Familiarity with LIMS databases and biosample tracking tools.
- Solid understanding of good clinical practice (GCP/ICH) and good clinical laboratory practice (GCLP)
- Strong communication, impeccable attention to detail, and outstanding follow-through
